The Cat on the Dovrefjell is a Norwegian fairy tale collected by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe in Norske Folkeeventyr. It is a short but sweet story about the trolls that live on the Dovre mountains and their yearly Christmas feast at Halvor's homestead.
